As Japan Post announced its policy updates on their EMS delivery fees, we have gathered our latest deliverable country information. Since the Pandemic changed the world and our lives in 2019, we have two shipping options, Japan Post and DHL. Please note that we might have to change your shipping choice from Japan Post's EMS to DHL to securely deliver your items to your address depending on the fast-changing circumstances for the pandemic. 

• Japan Post (International Postal Service) 

• Japan Post Co., Ltd. is a Japanese post, logistics, and courier headquartered in Tokyo. There are three leading international services called EMS, Airmail, and SAL. Before the Pandemic started in 2019, most of our customers used the SAL service for economical fees, fare delivery days, and traceability. But SAL service has been suspended due to the significant decrease of commercial international flights to carry their packages. Japan Post does not have its international cargo airplanes and depends on the global postal service network for international and local deliveries in the destination countries. Only EMS & Airmail services are available at CSTOYS now.

Thank you very much for your cooperation in managing FM Gaiya’s programs.

From Tuesday, June 28, there will be an essential update for our Internet Simul broadcasting system. Previously, you could enjoy our FM broadcasting via the Internet from Japan and overseas, operated by the JCBA Japan Community Broadcasting Association. However, due to this system update, our overseas listeners via the internet no longer be able to listen to our programs in the viewpoint of copyright protection, and the radio programs at FM Gaiya using copyrighted songs will be listened to only domestically in Japan.

Those programs that use only original and copyright-free songs can continue their shows and be heard from overseas. If this is your case, please consult with the person in charge of your program.

We apologize for any inconvenience this cause to overseas listeners, such as your friends and acquaintances, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

No, we can not let go of the toku community we love, the place that our friends gather and talk (or chat), because of this system update ( I meant "System Downgrade"). So we decided to renew the radio program from August this summer. It will be broadcasted via traditional FM radio wave for Japanese locals in Uwajima City and via YouTube Live streaming for our overseas listeners and chat members.

In the new program, we will focus more on Tokusatsu Updates, Quizzes, Listener Interviews, and interaction with Uwajima People. We understand this change with no Toku Music is harsh and cruel for a radio program and us all. But we also believe that there is a lot more for a radio program to deliver, connect, bond, foster, and discover more.

We have an announcement that we will need to on-hold all of our packing operations from Feb. 9th to 14th due to our business trip to Tokyo and my wife's hospitalization. My wife has back pain, and her stay is just temporary, but to make sure she is okay. And the good news is she is coming back in a week or so ;)

My business trip is something I need to take care of in Tokyo on Feb. 11th and 12th, live-streaming from Tachikawa City, Tokyo. The Youtube Live is for an alumni organization for the International Agriculture Exchange Council that I belong to. I will interview 2 or 3 ex-agriculture trainees who studied in Europe and hear what they have learned there and how they used their experiences in Europe in Japan after returning.

Toksautsu toys and shows are a bit slow before the new seasons start, but we see many good things happening. And we can not wait to receive more toys this spring.

In the pandemic situation we all are in right now, we sincerely hope you, your family and friends are doing okay. 

We would like to thank you for being patient with the continuing Japan Post situation and it has been nearly one year now since they limited accepting our international packages and we came to a point to ship our items by DHL for the customers in Australia and Canada effecting from 2021/01/24. The On-Hold service (Delivery On Hold / COVID-19 / Ship By AIRMAIL ) for our Australian and Canadian customers goes on hiatus until the COVID-19 pandemic situation ceases and Japan Post reopens for these countries. 

Before you use our DHL services for Australia and Canada, there are couple of things you need to be aware:

1. DHL shipping fee is higher than Japan Post service since it is a courier owned by a private company or an international parcel delivery service. Not like International Postal Service, it has their own cargo jets and delivery facilities and personnels and still can delivery your package overseas in the pandemic while Japan Post can not. 
   
   
2. DHL requires a redelivery charge if you do not have your correct shipping address. please make sure your shipping address is up-to-date. 
   
   
3. Sending by not Japan Post, but DHL to your country, there will likely be more possibilities for you to meet VAT or importing taxes by your authorities. And please note that it is not our obligation to pay for them but yours. Rejecting the package(s) or denying the taxes will likely cause the package(s) to be sent back to Japan and we will do not refund the returned item(s). 


The Pandemic is widespread around the world and hurting its people and businesses (sadly, we are one of them too), as you may know. Our service should make you happy, and that is our goal. But the current situation is way beyond our control, and we have been trying our best to keep up with our faith and the service we provide. We are sorry for your order's delivery is very late at this time, but we sincerely hope this email enlightens you in a difficult situation like everyone else.

The idea of the Ehime Food Tasting Program (EFTP) is to promote the local food & culture from Ehime Prefecture, where CSTOYS International is located. We have been working closely with local FM stations to support our domestic tourism industry and its renowned foods. We are promoting Ehime's local food products overseas and discovering its unveiled potential by inviting our international customers to taste, review, and share their thoughts on them through our Youtube Channels & our radio program at JOEU FM Ehime. The participants who have submitted their food reviews will receive a 2000 yen gift card from CSTOYS to show our appreciation for their contribution.

How can I participate?

1. First, you need to be a CSTOYS Customer with a decent purchasing history with an accountable record. Please note that the number of food samples is limited, and we need to be selective.
2. Before you apply, please approve that you are not allergic to citrus fruits. Allergies to them are rare, but they do occur. Citrus fruits include oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits.
3. Please send us your application form from HERE. 
4. We will select the participants and contact them privately for confirmation of their desire to participate in the EFTP.
5. We will send the product by EMS, and the shipping is free of charge. The tracking information will be sent to you after we have packed and shipped it. Expect approximately a week for delivery. 

In what form of the review, would you like me to send?

• A Youtube video or a blog post is recommended.
• YOUTUBE VIDEO is the best for us for sharing to others easily. To shoot the video, make sure to have a proper lighting atmosphere for both you and the product. Good audio is essential when it comes to reviewing something! Unless you have a good microphone, make sure to bring your smartphone or camera close enough to record your voice clearly. Try and taste the product we send in front of your camera, and give us your honest impressions on the taste and the packaging. Here is one example video that our longtime friend Collector Shuki did for us.

• *NOTE: The video is edited by CSTOYS crew and you do not have to edit or insert any titles, we will do it when you are qualified and send us the video link.  
  After you complete it, please send us your Youtube video URL for us to review.
• A PERSONAL BLOG is another excellent way to do the product review. Make sure to take plenty of pictures of the product in or out of your home, somewhere your blog readers can feel your personality and can relate to your photos and words. After you finish writing it, please send us your blog post URL for us to review. 

When is it due?

• The application is closed on July 25th.
• The acceptance of your product review will end by August 22nd.
